HOWLOWEEN BLOG HOP

Halloween is by far my favorite holiday. I love the costumes, candy, fall festivals, and most of all, the creatures and things that go bump in the night! After all, I grew up next door to a cemetery--literally next door. The only thing separating my yard from the graveyard was a row of bushes. A narrow dirt road circled the small, oval burial ground. I used to go for walks around that road, and I'd stroll between the gravestones contemplating the lives and deaths of the people buried beneath my feet. I always felt peaceful there.

Except on Halloween. While I played in the cemetery year-round, everyone else only came out one night year. People loved to party in my cemetery on Halloween night. (I say MY cemetery, because when I was a child, I thought my family owned it.) It scared me to death. I remember one Halloween night, someone decided to do a "haunted cemetery". I listened to that stupid chain saw all night long as I hid under the covers in my bedroom. I was never afraid of the spirits or monsters that might be lurking in the shadows. I was terrified of all the crazy people!

Luckily, I didn't loose my interest in the paranormal when I moved away from the cemetery. Vampires, werewolves, demons, and spirits play the starring rolls in my books now.

And to celebrate Halloween and the Howloween Blog Hop, I'm giving away a copy of one of my books to one lucky person who comments on this post. And the really cool thing is, you get to choose what book! Sweet Release, To Catch a Spirit, Her Guardian Lover, or Reawakened. Click here to read a blurb of each one. Be sure to comment with your email address, so I can contact you if you're the winner.

Here's the link to the Blog Hop main page, so you can visit other blogs and win more prizes:  http://thebloghopspot.com/event-page/.
